To kick things off, on the evening of Friday 20th, we are having an elegant evening of Prosecco, Canapes, music and the first chance to shop in our fabulous marketplace.
Our vendors are already plotting some exciting Friday night exclusives, so come join us from 6-8.30pm at the Trades Hall for the knitting event of the year!

Welcome to the inaugural Glasgow School of Yarn Gala. We will have an evening of nibbles and fizz with live music and early access to our marketplace with many vendor exclusives for the Friday night attendees.
Your ticket includes a Deluxe Goodie Bag made up of a Glasgow School of Yarn Tote Bag, a Limited Edition 20g Mini Skein dyed by Helen Lockhart of Ripples Crafts, who are celebrating their 15th anniversary this year. It will also include a copy of our stunning programme featuring a special GSoY pattern, and other goodies.
Please Note: Due to limited capacity for our Gala we cannot offer free carer tickets. Carers are welcome to attend on the purchase of a full price ticket, and we will have staff on hand to assist with accessibility lift use should this be required.
Additionally, due to the nature of this event we cannot accommodate young children or babies.
