PLI Insurance
Please ensure that you have provided a copy of your PLI Insurance documentation if you have not already done so. Unfortunately, we cannot allow anyone to vend without proof of insurance.

Driving Directions to the Briggait
The Briggait is located in Glasgow City Centre, within the Merchant City. The full postal address 141 Bridgegate, Glasgow G1 5HZ. HOWEVER, we will be accessing the venue via the Clyde Street entrance, as shown on the map above. If you are using the loading bay, please click here for the Google maps link. There is a one way system in operation on Clyde Street.
Glasgow Low Emission Zone
The Low Emission Zone in Glasgow has been in place since 2023 and is now fully enforced. For more details on the zone including a map, vehicle registration checker, and exemptions that apply please visit https://www.glasgow.gov.uk/article/4985/Glasgow-s-Low-Emission-Zone.
Please note you may be subject to fines if you enter the zone in a non-compliant vehicle.
Car Parking Information
For parking, the closest carpark is NCP Glasgow King Street. This is just a 3-minute walk away. There is a special early bird price of £6 a day if you arrive before 9am (we have access to the venue from 9 on both Saturday and Sunday).
You can also park at St Enoch's, which has a flat rate fee on Sundays.
Please do NOT park on Clyde Street, not only is it stupendously expensive, we're hoping to reserve the spaces available for disabled parking.
Loading Times and Information
Loading access on Friday is from 12am. You may book a 15 minute slot in the loading bay here.
We expect some time slots to be quite busy and suggest that you unload, then move your vehicle before coming back to set up.
We need to vacate the venue by 5pm on Friday. The building itself houses the WASPS artists studios and has 24 access, the Clydeside Halls will be fully secured when we're not on site.
For breakdown on Sunday, volunteers will be on hand to help you bring items to the kerb and load your vehicle.
Stand Info
The map (download here) shows your position within the Clydeside Halls, and your space will be clearly marked with your trading name. Please take note of stand boundaries as marked with blue tape on the floor. Should there be any issues with space on the day please talk to a member of the team.
You will receive two vendor passes per stall, please let us know if you require more.
Stand sizes are as follows:
Single - approximate footprint of 2.5m x 1.5m
Double - approximate footprint of 5m x 1.5m
Triple - approximate footprint of 7.5m x 1.5m
Any furniture, etc you booked will be ready for you at your stall, but please contact a member of staff if there are any issues.
You may bring additional display units, gridwall etc. if it can be installed securely within the space provided.
The Briggait has not asked us for individual risk assessments, but a member of the events team will conduct a visual survey on the day. Please note that any electrical equipment over 1 year old MUST be PAT tested and you may be required to show either a recent receipt OR proof of PAT testing.
GSoY Event Timings
Saturday GSoY Marketplace: vendor access from 9am. Marketplace opens to Deluxe ticket holders from 10am, standard ticket holders from 11am. Marketplace closes at 5.00pm.
Sunday GSoY Marketplace: vendor access from 9am. Marketplace opens to Deluxe ticket holders from 10am, standard ticket holders from 11am. Marketplace closes at 5.00pm, followed by breakdown.
Vendor Support
Our small army of helpful volunteers will be available all weekend to support you, wearing easy to spot lanyards if you need any help. They’ll be available to mind your stand if you need to step away for ten minutes or to grab you drinks, etc from the café.
As a vendor, you’ll have access to unlimited water, tea and filter coffee all weekend, as well as a selection of snacks and fruit as required. We'll have a vendor's "supply area" in the foyer for you to help yourselves, or you can flag down a volunteer to grab you something.
This year, we've also got a food vendor in the courtyard, selling Sri Lankan Street food. GF and vegan options will be available all weekend.

We will have a professional photographer on site at times over the weekend.

The Briggait
WIFI
There is WiFi throughout The Briggait and we will be supplying you with the login details when you arrive.
The Clydeside Halls
The Clydeside Halls have been recently refurbished into a custom built event space, which includes LED lighting throughout. Please feel free to bring your own stall lighting if you wish. The entire venue is on one level, with a brand new toilet block including accessible toilets. We also have a quiet space on site should you need to decompress.
The space itself is unheated. However, the roof lights are triple glazed and from conversations with event staff, it should not be excessively cold over the weekend. That said, you might find it a good opportunity to model some woolly samples.
As we are in a completely new-to-us venue this year, I'm sure there will be one or two teething problems. We've tried to anticipate as many issues as possible, but please let either myself or one of my staff or the Briggait event staff know if there are any problems.
